An 8 week preparation course culminating in a 3 night guided camping retreat in the Aussie bush. Minimum three (3) Stage 6 sessions per week for 8 weeks starting the 10th February 2020. At least 2 sessions per week need to be Strength + Movement classes. We’ll spend 8 weeks developing the skills and conditioning to ensure everyone is physically confident and competent enough to not only come along but to get the most out of the experience and help out when needed.

The Camping Retreat: A 3 night guided camping retreat with food included from the 3-6 April, 2020. We’ll get out of the city, set up a camp, cook over a fire, learn practical bush skills, move in nature, switch off the mobile phones, go stargazing and have a good time.


What's included?

Bush Skills Retreat + 8 week Prep Course

  • Who can sign up?

    • People who can commit to (at least) 3 sessions per week for 8 weeks starting the 10th February 2020.
    • There will be some “benchmark” workouts throughout the 8 week course that people will need to pass in order to be able to come along. These are by no means impossible, they're just designed to make sure everyone will be able to participate and get the most our of the camping experience.


    Where and when?

    • Exact camping location is TBA but expect a 2-3ish hour drive out of Brisbane. We won’t be going to a standard, busy campground; this is about getting off the beaten track. The camping trip is the 3-6 April, 2020. (Take the Friday-Monday off work)

    • If you’re buying gear, have a chat with us beforehand so you’re getting the right stuff. We also have hire options available.


    What else do I need to do? 

    • Commit to three (3) Stage 6 sessions per week for 8 weeks starting the 10th February. At least 2 of those sessions per week need to be Strength + Movement classes
    • Advise any dietary requirements


    Toilets and showers

    • *ahem* …. There’ll be bush toilets and showers. As in, we’ll be building them as part of the camp setup. So no marble benchtops and gold fittings, but simple and useable.


    • Refunds will be given at the discretion of Stage 6. 
    • Transferrable to a friend or family member at the discretion of Stage 6.
